Your wedding day should be very personal and a reflection of you, so naturally it's important you find a celebrant who suits your style. Here's a bit about me, and of course I'm available for a complimentary meet & greet at any time.
I became a Commonwealth-registered Civil Marriage Celebrant in May 2016 (and I absolutely love it!).
I am qualified to write and perform non-religious ceremonies, across Australia, for anyone who can legally be married. I'm thrilled this now also includes my fellow LGBTQIA+ friends, be it male, female, intersex, non-binary gender and transgender couples.
WHY I DO IT?
This is what inspired me to become a marriage celebrant:
To help celebrate love in a meaningful way.
To help bring happiness & joy to others.
To help advocate for marriage equality.
WHO DO I ATTRACT?
I tend to attract an eclectic variety of super chilled couples, who want a non-traditional type of wedding. Generally, they’re looking for something more authentic and personal to share with their nearest and dearest.
In my view, long, drawn out ceremonies filled with rituals and traditions that aren’t relevant to the couple are best left in the church.
I live in Bondi Beach, NSW, and start most mornings with a soft sand run along the beach, followed by a quick jump in the ocean to cool off.
I love going hiking in the bush, just as much as I love exploring a new art gallery. I’m vegetarian. I ride a motorbike. I support marriage equality. In general, I'm a pretty relaxed, easy-going friendly guy, which I'm told comes across in the ceremonies I write and perform.
My other job is in the film and television industry, where I work as an actor and body double in films, TV and commercials.
