LATEST COVID-19 UPDATE

  • Currently, people who are fully vaccinated don't have any restrictions on the size of a wedding they can hold, beyond the 1 person per 2 square metres rule that applies both indoors and outside. All guests must be fully vaccinated though.

  • If you are not fully vaccinated, you can only attend a small wedding service up to 11 people in total.

  • Fully vaccinated people are allowed to stand while eating and drinking, but unvaccinated and partially vaccinated people must sit to eat and drink.

  • On the plus side, everyone is allowed to dance, regardless of vaccination status.

Creating authentic, relaxed and enjoyable ceremonies for everyone.
Simon Edds, 2017

Hi, I'm Simon, The Happy Celebrant.

I'm based in Bondi Beach, NSW. I've been marrying awesome couples since May 2016 - and I love it!

I'm qualified to write and perform non-religious ceremonies, across Australia, for anyone who can legally marry, including my fellow LGBTQIA+ community.

I tend to attract super chilled couples, looking for an authentic and relaxed wedding ceremony that's enjoyable for everyone... rather than the long, drawn out ceremonies filled with rituals and traditions that aren't relevant to the couple.

To help keep things easy, you'll find everything you need to know about me, the types of ceremonies that I offer, the process of getting married, and even the required legal stuff right here on my site.

Of course, feel free to reach out for a complimentary meet & greet, should you want to find out more.

Simon 😊
