The Happy Celebrant

Welcome and thank you so much for considering me for your special day. My name is Mick McInerney and I am known as the Happy Celebrant.

Why?  I think it's because I take your Marriage very seriously but not myself. So many times I have been to Weddings and it's been done all so formal and seriously that if you look around.  Nobody seems to be having fun enjoying this very, very special occasion.

When I decided to become a Marriage Celebrant.  I made a decision to do so but only if you could lookaround at my Ceremonies and see everyone enjoying the moment along with the couple.  This is your day for sure but it is being shared with all the people in the world that mean something special to you both.

With this in mind.  I perform my ceremonies and thus the Happy Celebrant was born. If you and your guests are happy.  Then I am Happy.

How do I go about this?  I simply get to know you both and from that I know exactly what you want and deliver that not only to you but to all of your guests.

It stands to reason that.  If your a happy go lucky couple.  Then so will be your family & friends.  If your a formal style couple. Again, so will your family & friends be.   Getting to know and understand you is the key.  No big secret but a fact often missed.  Sometimes theres a little of each so I adjust. But it's always FUN.

So. No matter what you like.  I will put together a Ceremony that will make every body happy.

I refuse to just stand there and read the same old, same old every Ceremony.  It has to be made to order each and every time.

Equipment used:
I use a mobile speaker on stand that will blow through wind, noise and most anything that we may encounter.  This is not just a tiny PA.  This is a fully functional speaker system that your guests will hear every word from.  I can also play Cd's through it or plug in an iPod or laptop.

This is a professional system that you should expect at your ceremony.  I use a head set and a cordless microphone to ensure every one hears the special and thought out words you choose to say to each other.

Mingle music before and after the ceremony is important as well.  PLUS your processional and recessional music can be played for the extra mood & memory.  I will put this music to CD for you as a special keep sake for your wedding memory book.  Music really makes a big difference.

Hey guys.  One last thing.  In another life I was a professional cabaret performer.  So if you would like a song or two sung live at the ceremony.  I would be happy to discuss that with you at some point.

My sincere & warmest regards,
Mick McInerney
The Happy Celebrant.
