Hello again.
As briefly mentioned on the "Home" page. I was an entertainer. Well. Was may be a little harsh. I still do selected gigs from time to time. But only locally as I have a little daughter who is my priority. I use to tour with my show. The Be Frank with Friends Show.
But as I was on the road a lot. It didn't match up to being a good Daddy to my little girl. So, I changed direction in my life.
A friend of mine gave me a lot of work singing and MC'ing at Weddings locally. It was here that I came in contact with the Marriage Ceremony. I remember thinking. "Wow. They are all the same" And mostly that's true. So I went about sitting down and studying and eventually passing my Marriage Celebrants Course and decided that I was going to do it differently.
I try to make the whole thing fun and enjoyable for the couple and their family & friends. Respecting that its the wedding couples special day. I haven't met a couple yet that didn't want the guests to have a ball as well.
I have been known if not booked elsewhere to be invited to the reception. And if asked I will sing a few songs for everyone. I do all the Sinatra era music. I get to know my couples so well that I almost feel part of the guests anyway.
I love what I do and it shows. This is such a lovely occupation to be involved in.
Weddings are suppose to be fun & joyous. So I limit my seriousness to the bare essentials and deliver a fun memorable time. And you know what? It's easy because most people in Oz are nice and easy to get on with. Well, I find that's the case, anyway.
